Artist as an Entrepreneur Institute

The Artist as an Entrepreneur class has now served approximately 300 artists in Northeast Ohio, helping them to understand the ins and outs of marketing, business structure, legal issues and finance. Reaching a National and International Market

Date: March 7, 2007
Time: 2-4 p.m.
Location: Tower Press Building

A presentation by an artist who has reached from the Cleveland market to national or international status. What has helped them, how long did it take, when was the right time to grow and was there a lucky break? What kind of marketing and technology has helped?

Fee: $10 non-members, $5 for members

Arts Network Roundtable

Date: March 21, 2007
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Location: COSE at the Greater Cleveland Partnership

The Arts Network Roundtable is a small peer-to-peer group that meets monthly every third Wednesday to discuss their business challenges and give each other advice and ideas.

This is a members’ only group. Although it is not closed to new members joining, the size will remain between 10-12 participants. Artists in the group come from a variety of media, and are at varying places in their careers. During the meeting, each member of the group has a chance to share challenges and identify goals for the next month.
