What's in it for
you?
Are
you a member of the COSE Arts Network? I don't just mean
subscribed to this e-newsletter - have you actually
joined the network? The $225 cost to join - while
certainly significant - is a small investment compared
to the benefits of membership. So what do you actually
get? Here are a few things you're missing out on if you
haven't joined the network:
Admission
to the COSE Small Business Conference
At
first glance, you may wonder why an arts-based business
should attend this conference. But take a closer look at
the workshops- have you ever needed help finding
customers, marketing yourself or developing a Web site?
Are you interested in learning about the latest
technology, or could you use a one-on-one consultation
with an accountant, lawyer or business advisor? Or maybe
you'd like to hear a unique speaker - one of the
keynotes is a guitar virtuoso. Check out more details,
including information on the workshops, here.
Exhibit
Work at Business After Hours
This
year, COSE Arts Network members exhibited their work for
free at COSE's annual trade show, which draws 800
people.
Join
the Red Dot Project
Red
Dot's mission is to connect businesses with artists, and
they do so through their Web site, flat files, and
events and exhibits that highlight their members. Learn
more about the Red Dot Project.
Use
the COSE Business Space at Corporate
College
Come
out to either Corporate College East or West to use
small meeting space, computers, wireless access,
printers, copiers and faxes and work areas for no cost!
This is a great benefit, especially if you work from
home. Larger meeting space is available at a discounted
rate. Visit the Corporate
College Web site for more information.
Be
profiled in the COSE Update or the
Arts Network e-newsletter
Are
you interested in getting the word out about your
arts-based business? To send a postcard to 20,000 people
would cost thousands of dollars in postage alone.
However, the COSE Update, our monthly
member magazine, mails to that number of people and Arts
Network members can be featured in it for free! Members
have the option of being profiled in Update,
this e-newsletter and online at http://cl.exct.net/?ffcb10-fe5d1c747d6600797615-fde217787c610d747511747c-feff1575756200.
To be considered for one of these profiles,
fill out the online
application.
You will also be automatically
included in the online COSE membership directory when
you join the network, and will be a part of other online
listing services that are currently in development.
Now
add all of these figures up
That
figure doesn't include the health insurance, energy and
other business savings, or the connections you can make
through networking. And we're just getting started! As
more needs are identified, more benefits will be
developed.
If
you'd like more information, please call 216-592-2472,
or fill out the online
information request form.
Sincerely,
